Mission

Our vision originates from a need in the sector for holistic and comprehensive recording and reporting of service data. Our product is the direct out-working of a passion for quality service provision in the Social Services sector and quick responsiveness to the needs of NZ communities. We exist to improve the overall quality of service provision first by providing a strong recording platform for client management, then by maximising client’s models of practice and service provision and finally by reporting on outcomes for targets.

That vision underpins everything we do in Exess and how our product is developed – with the customer’s needs invited and reflected in each aspect of development.

Team

Michelle Beavan

Director/Chief Executive Navigator

Michelle has a Post-Grad Dip in Strategic Management, a Post-Grad Dip in HR Management, a Dip Soc. Work and a Post-Grad Dip in Clinical Supervision. Michelle has an extensive clinical background, experience leading social service agencies in CEO roles and experience in governance that includes previously being a Trustee with the Competitions Society, Chairing the Hamilton Nightshelter Trust, Chairing Autism Waikato and Chairing the Youth Development Trust. Michelle is also the Director of Developing Potential Ltd where others benefit from her strong strategic and leadership abilities through training, mentoring and consultancy.

Tina Goulter

General Manager

Tina is an expert in translating organisations business and clinical needs into their digital environment. She is astute with contracts of all government departments and understands organisations from the grass-roots level to the high-level contract reporting. Tina joined the Exess team after successfully implementing Exess in a large organisation with excellent results. She has a Bachelor's degree in Community Development and Recreation Management from the University of Manitoba in Canada. She emigrated to New Zealand in 2004 and has a background in both government and not-for-profit sector working for the Health Authority as well as the Alzheimer Society in Canada and with several not-for-profits in New Zealand, most recently as the director of a community charity, City Lights and as a Team Leader for two Community Services at Iosis Family Solutions. Tina works closely with our clients, developers and all members of the team to see they get the maximum benefit from Exess, are trained well, and on developing our product with your needs in mind.

Helen Cronin

Help & Support Manager

Helen heads up our Help & Support team ensuring customers have excellent and responsive support for all of their user and admin queries. Helen’s relationship with Exess began in 2011 when she was contracted as a PRIMHD Senior Rollout Coordinator by the Ministry of Health. She worked with the PRIMHD team and external providers to roll out PRIMHD to NGOs that were required to report mental health data to the Ministry. She enjoyed working with Exess as a provider and has continued that relationship on a part-time basis since finishing her contract with the Ministry. She is responsible for updating and maintaining our User and Administration guide and aims to provide our customers with the highest quality service. She also provides support to the Exess team when required, for example, assisting with training and working with some of our clients to help them achieve their PRIMHD reporting requirements.
